Status Grand Prix is one the UK’s fastest-emerging motorsport companies, committed to sporting and commercial excellence.
The team, who are based at Silverstone, won the 2009 A1GP World Cup of Motorsport with its A1 Team Ireland entry, a success that led into its 2010 entry into the new GP3 Series, the formula run by Bernie Ecclestone and Bruno Michel to identify Formula One™ stars of the future.
Status GP was founded in 2005 Mark Gallagher and Mark Kershaw. The team have hand picked personal with F1 experience and are keen to guide its drivers to more championships and utilising its network of heavyweight Formula One™ contacts to fast-track their careers to the top.
Status have three shareholders; Teddy Yipp Junior, who is son of Teddy Yipp who helped the likes of Aryton Senna, ex F1 driver David Kennedy and highly successful businessman, John Hynes.
